As a dedicated dental assistant in a pediatric dental office, I love helping children feel confident and comfortable with their smiles. After working as a hairstylist for seven years, I moved from Ontario last year and discovered my passion for pediatric dental care. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, three kids, and our German Shepherd.

I completed the Certified Dental Assisting program at Sprott Shaw College and joined Glow a few months ago. I’m passionate about working with children, and I’ve worked hard to learn pediatric procedures and treatments. I love helping kids develop good cleaning and flossing habits while ensuring they feel comfortable during their visits.

Certified Dental Assistant

Hi, I’m Ava, a certified dental assistant with a focus on pediatric dentistry. I graduated from Fanshawe College in 2021 and have three years of experience in the field. My nursing background gave me a strong foundation in patient care, which I now bring to my role in pediatric dentistry. I’m passionate about helping children feel at ease during their visits and assisting with procedures, X-rays, and oral hygiene education. My goal is to make dental visits positive experiences for children while fostering lifelong healthy dental habits.

Bailey

Certified Dental Assistant

Bailey graduated from her accredited Dental Assisting program in 2017 from Douglas College. Prior to this she spent 2 years at UBC towards becoming an elementary school teacher but decided to go into healthcare instead. She worked in a general dentist’s office for five years. After having a baby of her own she decided it was the perfect time to start working with children and their families.

Dental is one of Bailey’s many passions, as is making sure everyone has a positive experience at the dental office. When Bailey isn’t at work, she can be found around Langley walking with her son and her Yorkie Ella.

After graduating from Vancouver Community College in November 2023, I discovered my passion for pediatric dentistry. My experience as a neighborhood babysitter growing up helped me realize how much I enjoy working with kids. Outside of work, I love baking and spending quality time with my friends and family.

I’m a certified dental assistant with over nine years of experience specializing in pediatric dentistry. I’m dedicated to helping children feel comfortable and confident during their dental visits and take pride in providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Outside of work, I’m a competitive horseback rider who enjoys spending time outdoors and cherishing moments with my husband and our two beloved dogs, a German Shepherd and a Corgi.

I completed my certified dental assisting program at VCC in 2023. I’m passionate about creating a fun and welcoming environment for young patients, and I strive to make every visit enjoyable and memorable. I look forward to seeing children return excited for their next appointment. On weekends, I enjoy crafting and exploring new walking trails with my dog, Oliver.

Pediatric Dentistry Receptionist

Moreover, Sindy is dedicated to ensuring that every visit to the office leaves your little ones with radiant, healthy smiles and a positive outlook on their dental well-being.

Bryanna

Certified Dental Assistant

Bryanna completed her dental assisting program in 2018 from CDI college and went on to complete her sedation module in 2021. Bryanna thrives at Glow helping to put smiles on both the faces of children and adult patients. In her free time, she enjoys finding local hidden gems and exploring beautiful British Columbia.

Iris

Certified Dental Assistant

Iris loved going to the dentist as a small child and started work as a dental receptionist on the Sunshine Coast in 2014. A few years later, she started helping as a dental assistant for both a dentist and orthodontist and fell in love with dentistry even more. As she also loves working with children, Iris switched to a pediatric dental office and found a perfect fit with Glow.  Every day she looks forward to coming to work, trying her best to ensure that the children are all comfortable, with their needs met.

Dental Receptionist

After completing her dental receptionist program in January 2021, Ashley came to Glow seeking a practicum position and quickly learned that it was a perfect fit! At Glow, Ashley is one of the friendly faces you see as your family enters the clinic. She also assists with insurance claims and helping to coordinate dental treatments with sedation and under general anesthesia.
